Remember Me

When the impossibilities of life abound

Jesus says, Remember Me,

I am the God that makes all things possible,

If you will only learn to trust in Me.

 

When the days are long & the nights are cold,

And there seems to be no end in sight

Jesus says, Remember I created,

I made the heaven & the earth- the day & the night

 

When you are in deep valleys & the wilderness of despair,

Instead of worrying or thinking about how tired & weak you are,

Jesus says, Remember Me,

I was tried in the wilderness .I was there just where you are!

 

When sadness & sorrow comes to call

And all you can do is weep & cry a mournful song

Jesus says, Remember I wept,

It is when you are weak that I become strong!

 

When life starts to get you down,

Instead of wishing on a bright far away star,

Jesus says, Remember Me,

I’m the one who placed the stars where they are.

 

When you feel tired, weak, and broken,

And it seems that life is passing & you cannot win,

Jesus says, Remember Gethsemane,

I endured Agony in the Garden- I bore your sin!     

 

 

When you have pain and suffering

And you can’t seem to comprehend or understand why?

Jesus says, Remember Golgotha,

I endured intense suffering on the cross -so you wouldn’t have to die!

 

When you are sad, discouraged, troubled & lonely,

And it seems that you are all alone without value or worth to men

Jesus says, Remember My Word,

It says, “I will be with you always even unto the end of the world,” Amen
